I’m Colin Pierson and I have spent a decade helping students at Texas State University with statistics, data analysis, and research methods. I know what’s its like firsthand to feel lost in a college math course and I now have an opportunity to pay forward the mentorship I received when I was an undergraduate student. The Tutoring Lab is a unique service provided by the Sociology Department to help students better understand statistics and statistics-based research, especially for students enrolled in SOCI 3307 with me or my colleagues (but we can help with other courses too). If you’re looking for some one-on-one help understanding your statistics material or are just looking for a place to practice and study, make it a point to stop by!
