The Sally Caldwell Tutoring Lab is provided and funded by the Sociology Department to help students succeed in their statistics-based courses and research. Our tutors are current undergraduate and graduate students.

Research Library
The research library provides a space for students to work quietly on their research based projects. The room has two computers for student use as well as commonly used sociology textbooks and primary documents for reference.
SOAR Program
SOAR (Sociology Opportunities for Applied Research) is a new pilot program developed by the Sociology Department and the Center for Diversity and Gender Studies (CDGS). SOAR is designed to provide students traditionally underserved or underrepresented in higher education with an opportunity to receive mentoring in and experience conducting applied research.
